Han Wenke is currently a senior adviser and research fellow at the Energy Research Institute (ERI) at the National Development and Reform Commission, where his research covers energy policy in China’s national energy development strategy and plans, national energy security, sustainable energy policies, energy market reform, energy subsidies reform, and global energy governance. Prior to this role, Professor Han served as director general of the ERI. In addition, he is the director of the China Economic and Social Council of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges and the China Energy Research Society of China Energy Conservation Association.
