Adrian Hoefer was an assistant director with the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, where he assisted in leading the center’s work on the Caucasus, the European Union, and Ukraine; major domestic events; audience engagement and digital products; and congressional relations. He also contributed to the center’s UkraineAlert blog. Prior to joining the Council in September 2019, Hoefer worked in the Politics, Security, and Development section at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States.

Hoefer earned his BA in international affairs at the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs with a focus on international politics and Europe and Eurasia. He graduated as a member of the University Honors Program and is fluent in English and German.
