Andrew Goff is chief of staff to the president and chief executive officer at the Atlantic Council.
In this role, he partners closely with the Atlantic Council’s executive leadership to drive institutional strategy, strengthen organizational performance, and align internal operations and governance with the Council’s mission. As chief of staff, Goff leads high-priority initiatives and oversees strategic projects throughout the organization on behalf of the president and chief executive officer.
Most recently, he managed the successful completion of the Atlantic Council’s new eighty-thousand-square-foot global headquarters at 1400 L Street NW—the organization’s most significant operational and strategic undertaking in its history. His work supports sustainable growth, ensures continuity across leadership functions, and delivers results which have helped double the size of the organization since 2018.
Goff holds a master’s degree in international relations history from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.
