Chuck “Chim Chim” Dockery is a 2025-2026 Veterans Advanced Energy fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center and leads Schneider Electric Federal’s Department of the Navy global account portfolio. In his role, Dockery leads a team committed to providing Schneider Electric’s technologies and integrated energy solutions to the Navy and Marine Corps.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Dockery served over twenty-nine years in the US Marine Corps where he held multiple command positions. His penultimate assignment was commanding officer, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, where he played a pivotal role in proving the operational viability of the Marine Corps’ first islandable microgrid. Additionally, he headed force readiness initiatives within Headquarters Marine Corps, led global force management planning in Joint Staff Operations, and held senior positions in the Indo-Pacific.
Dockery holds a bachelor’s degree in general engineering from the United States Naval Academy, and master’s degrees from the University of New South Wales (Australia) and the US Army War College. He currently serves on the Electrical Generating Systems Association Government Affairs Committee. In his spare time, he is a board member at Kimonos for Kai, a nonprofit aimed at eliminating teen and preteen suicide.
