Ellie Creasey is an assistant director at the GeoTech Center. In this role, Creasey works on the development of new partnerships to advance holistic research on emerging and frontier technologies. Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Creasey worked with the US Department of State and the Joint Chiefs of Staff on projects to find and develop innovative solutions to issues of national security. Her areas of interest include space governance, human spaceflight, and public-private partnerships on matters of scientific advancement.

Creasey is currently a graduate student at George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute, where she studies the effects of restrictionist policies on the civil and commercial innovation of space technologies and capabilities. She received her bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
