Emily Weinstein was a nonresident fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. She was previously a research analyst focusing on China’s S&T ecosystem, talent flows, and technology transfer issues at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET). She holds a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan and an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University. Emily’s writing has appeared in Foreign Policy, Lawfare, and DefenseOne. Her current research centers around US export control policy and research security and integrity.
