AmericasErica co-founded and co-led UNICEF’s Innovation Unit, a group of 70+ people using technology to improve the lives of children around the world. UNICEF Innovation’s technology programs have impacted over 15 million people directly and billions of children through our community health networks in 80+ countries.
Erica also oversaw UNICEF’s product partnerships with technology companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, and ARM.
TIME Magazine selected her as one of the “World’s 100 Most Influential People” List in 2013. From 2017-2018, Erica co-chaired the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Human Rights and Technology, which focuses on the opportunities and risks of AI on society.
