Jonathan M. Padilla is a 2022 Atlantic Council Millennium fellow and the chief executive officer of Snickerdoodle Labs. Snickerdoodle was started with the belief that people should be first when it comes to their data and that with the advent of Web3, there is an opportunity to redefine the relationship between individuals and the internet.
Prior to Snickerdoodle, Padilla was the head of blockchain strategy at PayPal where he worked to launch their buy, sell, and hold of crypto and enterprise integrations with other blockchain companies. He is additionally the cofounder and director of Stanford’s Future of Digital Currency Initiative housed at the Stanford School of Engineering.
Padilla graduated from Harvard College with a degree in government and from Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government with a master’s degree in public policy. He was a 2018 Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University where he earned a master’s in economics. There, he wrote his thesis on blockchain and cryptocurrency regulation.
