Joshua Hotvet is a 2023-2024 Veterans Advanced Energy fellow and the vice president of development at Agilitas Energy, a renewable energy and energy storage company that develops, builds, owns, and operates distributed energy storage and solar photovoltaic systems. 

Hotvet is currently serving as a lieutenant colonel in the US Marine Corps Reserve and as the commercial engagement branch head of the Marine Innovation Unit, which accelerates the adoption of advanced capabilities within the Naval Services to pair rapidly evolving operational and strategic needs with mission-critical resources.  

Hotvet enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves and was deployed to Iraq with his Infantry unit in 2003 during his senior year of college. He later received his commission and most recently graduated from the US Marine Corps Command and Staff College in 2022. He received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College
