Kelsey Callahan currently serves as senior program associate at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) and Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions Forum (CRES Forum. CRES is a grassroots advocacy organization founded in 2013 to engage Republican policymakers and the public about commonsense, conservative solutions to address the United States’ need for abundant and reliable energy, while CRES Forum is a nonprofit organization launched in 2017 committed to educating the public and influencing the national conversation about commonsense clean energy via advanced educational tools that foster robust conversation, policy development, and advocacy in support of free-market, clean energy solutions across the political spectrum.
Prior to joining CRES and CRES Forum, she was the development director at Student Veterans of America, a nonprofit focused on addressing the needs and concerns of American military veterans in higher education. Before moving into the nonprofit sector, Kelsey worked as deputy finance director for the Pennsylvania Republican Party, regional field director of Southeast Missouri for the RNC Victory Campaign, and as finance director on congressional campaigns in Kansas City, MO, and Fort Lauderdale, FL. Kelsey graduated from American University with a degree in Communications.
