Liv Rowley is an assistant director with the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative under the Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab). In this capacity, she works to bring to life projects that deal with issues at the intersection of cybersecurity and national security, exploring topics such as the proliferation of offensive cyber capabilities.

Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Liv worked as a threat intelligence analyst in both the US and Europe. Much of her research has focused on threats originating from the cybercriminal underground as well as the Latin American cybercriminal space.

Liv holds a BA in International Relations from Tufts University. She is based in Barcelona, Spain.
