United States and CanadaMadeline Ryan is a 2025–2026 Millennium fellow and the vice president in the Office of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Goldman Sachs in Washington, DC. Ryan covers a range of topics, including domestic and international regulatory and legislative issues, as well as geopolitical developments and US politics. She also served as chief of staff to the global head of government affairs, executing special projects and office strategy in coordination with the broader Executive Office and firm leadership. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Ryan worked at the US Mission to the United Nations in New York as a policy advisor to the ambassador focused on the United Nations Economic and Social Council. She also worked on Capitol Hill in the Office of Speaker Paul Ryan and at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and is an active member of the alumni community.
