Maeve Cuddy is an assistant director in the Forward Defense program of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security.

Prior to this role, she worked at WestExec Advisors, a strategic advisory firm, where she developed solutions for Fortune 500 companies and defense technology firms across the national security and technology sectors. She also served at the Albright Stonebridge Group, supporting Madeleine Albright and her senior staff. She has also worked at the Truman National Security Project, where she coordinated events, assisted visiting fellows, and contributed to the Project’s Afghanistan evacuation efforts in 2021. 

Cuddy holds a master of arts in security policy studies from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, with a focus on US national security, defense, and US-East Asia relations. She graduated with honors from Clemson University with a bachelor of science in political science.
