Maggie Vidal is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS), based in San Diego, CA. Maggie leads projects to develop innovative technologies and is responsible for millions of dollars in research and development programs, including hybrid-electric propulsion systems, in support of strategic government initiatives. She is also the coordinator of the >$70M Internal Research and Development portfolio at GA-EMS. Previously, Maggie used her rhetoric education in collaboration with executives to help develop focused messages for external, VIP visitors. Maggie also led millions of dollars in commercial and government proposal and quotation activity. Maggie has a Master’s in Rhetoric and Writing Studies from San Diego State University, where she teaches undergraduate writing part-time. Maggie graduated Summa Cum Laude in three years from the University of Rhode Island with a dual French and Psychology degree. She also studied at the Université Paris Diderot in 2011.
