Mrs. Nataliya Katser-Buchkovska is a member of the Parliament of Ukraine, representative of a new generation of Ukrainian politicians. Prior to being elected in 2014, she served as a Managing Partner of the KCG Investment Consulting, focusing on investment solutions in renewable energy sector. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in the area of corporate governance, investment and energy law.
Holding a position of Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Sustainable Development, Strategy and Investments of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy, Mrs. Katser-Buchkovska’s legislative work is primarily focused on energy security and diplomacy, liberalization of energy markets, attraction of investment, achieving sustainable development goals. She advocates for a global-vision approach, stressing an importance of geopolitical factor in Ukraine`s energy security, highlighting the need to develop comprehensive energy diplomacy.
Mrs. Katser-Buchkovska had obtained B.A. in Law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and M.A. in Law and Economics from University College London. Also, she had successfully completed the Emerging Leaders Program within the Executive Education of the Harvard Kennedy School.
Mrs. Katser-Buchkovska is the author of numerous analytical publications on energy security and diplomacy, peace-making process, post-conflict settlement.
