Oula Kadhum was a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and current postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Birmingham. Her research explores diaspora politics and transnationalism between Europe and the Middle East. Her work has been published in leading academic journals including International Affairs, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Global Networks, and British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies. She has also published policy reports with the Carnegie Middle East Center and the Arab Reform Initiative. Her research interests include international relations, diasporic transnationalism, and the Middle East.
