Patrik Martínek is a visiting fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center, currently in residence from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is a Czech career diplomat. Before his current role, Martínek worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Foreign Policy Analysis and Planning Department.

Before joining the Czech foreign service, Martínek worked as a security analyst and researcher focusing on space security at the Prague Security Studies Institute. He earned his MA in international politics and diplomacy at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
