Sofronis Papageorgiou is a 2025 Millennium Leadership Intensive participant and head of the Cyprus Embassy Trade Center in Tel Aviv, where he leads Cyprus’s economic diplomacy in Israel. In this role, he actively promotes bilateral trade, advances cooperation on regional energy security and transition, and plays a key role in attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Cyprus. He is a versatile professional with over fifteen years of experience in international affairs, business development, project management, and information-technology service management across the European Union and the Middle East.
