Foreign Policy quotes Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center Assistant Director Rachel DeLevie-Orey on Fidel Castro’s recent public appearance and the opening of relations between the United States and Cuba:

“I think showing him out and about is probably a move to clarify that recent changes have been blessed by the guy who created the revolution,” said Rachel DeLevie-Orey, an analyst at the Atlantic Council.
