Macmillan reviews The Next Africa, a book cowritten by Africa Center Nonresident Senior Fellow Aubrey Hruby, which discusses the opportunities presented by Africa’s technological developments:

The book details how Africa’s core trends have driven President Obama’s decision to make the second trip to Sub-Saharan Africa of his presidency in late July 2015. His visit to Kenya for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit and Ethiopia highlights business, innovation and the growing importance of Africa on the international stage.
