On January 20, Manning was quoted in a Straits Times article about the first year of the Biden administration.
“The business of Asia is business, and they (the administration) haven’t really got their arms around it,” Dr. Robert Manning, senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, told ST.
“To be fair, a lot of it is the political climate,” he said. “Even if it looks like they are inching towards an agreement on Iran, you can be sure there will be a barrage of criticism for not being tough enough, or not getting more.”
