US News and World Report quotes Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center Deputy Director Jason Marczak on President Obama’s participation in the Summit of the Americas in Panama:

Still, some countries seem determined to oppose the U.S. no matter what policy changes the president makes, says Jason Marczak, deputy director of the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center at the Atlantic Council.

“There are other leaders that look for any opportunity they can, for international as well as domestic political reasons, to criticize the United States,” Marczak says. “There are countries in the hemisphere with which we get along with very well and others that we don’t get along with as well.”
