Global Business and Economics Program Director Andrea Montanino writes for The Hill on what Sunday’s election in Greece means for its bailout program:
The outcome of the September 20 elections will be key to the fate of Greece’s third bailout and the reforms former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras committed to deliver by the end of October.
Greek authorities must take ownership of the bailout program if it is to have any chance of success. Ownership means a complete commitment to prepare and pass legislation, and follow through with implementation.
