The Osun Defender cites congressional testimony from Africa Center Director J. Peter Pham on the ongoing struggle against Boko Haram:
According to Peter Pham, director of the Africa Center at the Atlantic Council, while testifying before a congressional committee on Wednesday, said the terrorist group has recently taken effective control of 10 local government areas in Borno State. Most residents, who successfully fled the area aren’t willing to come back as long as Boko Haram remains there.
