Jamechia Hoyle is a 2022 Atlantic Council Millennium fellow and a senior consultant and infectious disease epidemiologist with nearly fifteen years of experience in public health emergency management. She serves as an advisor to senior leaders of the US Department of Homeland Security Office of Health Security focused on capacity-building with state, local, tribal, and territorial partners. Throughout her tenure as a federal government consultant, Hoyle has managed and administered multiple multiyear contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and technical directives to support the mission of various US agencies.

Hoyle has successfully managed global multidisciplinary teams of up to seven hundred people in the daily operations of the Next Generation Global Health Security Network and the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training. She is extremely skilled at coordinating and managing teams across several jurisdictions and/or countries with competing needs and priorities. Her success in several programs in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic has helped to successfully expand program initiatives both domestically and internationally.
