Atlantic Council announces formation of Nearshoring Working Group to advance commercial integration with Central America and Mexico
On the heels of growing interest in relocating supply chains to the Americas, the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center (AALAC) convened the inaugural meeting of its Nearshoring Working Group—a nonpartisan, multisectoral group of policy professionals representing the United States and seven additional countries who will help translate nearshoring from rhetoric into reality, with a focus on Central America and Mexico.

Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center names Andrew Michta as director of the Scowcroft Strategy Initiative

Atlantic Council announces 2023 Fellowship selection of Veterans in Energy
WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 6, 2023 – The Atlantic Council Global Energy Center’s (GEC) Veterans Advanced Energy Project (VAEP) announced the twenty highly distinguished military veterans of the 2023-2024 VAEP Fellowship Program. Atlantic Council Welcomes 2023 Class of Millennium Fellows
The Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program, a globally regarded program for emerging global leaders in international affairs, has selected thirty-five young global leaders to participate in its 2023 class of Millennium Fellows. The Millennium Fellowship aims to hone leadership acumen, foster community, and increase capacity for meaningful impact. This year’s highly competitive candidate pool drew applicants from 96 countries.
