The Atlantic Council’s Transatlantic Security Initiative, in the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, and NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division hosted a conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on June 7 , 2021.

On June 14, NATO heads of state and government gathered in Brussels for a unique opportunity to reinforce NATO as the essential link between Europe and North America. During their meetings, allied leaders were expected to take decisions on the substantive and forward-looking NATO 2030 agenda to deal with the challenges of today and tomorrow. Ahead of the Summit and on his first visit to Washington since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Secretary General Stoltenberg joined the Atlantic Council to outline his vision for the future of the Alliance and discuss the NATO 2030 agenda.

The Scowcroft Center’s Transatlantic Security Initiative presented this live event as part of the Atlantic Council’s #ACFrontPage  event series, our premier ideas platform spotlighting global leaders and championing constructive solutions to global challenges.
