On Friday, April 18 from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. ET, the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center hosted a conversation with two leading figures of Latin America policy at the World Bank Group ahead of the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington.

The World Bank Group regional leads discussed the economic outlook for Latin America and the Caribbean, examining how countries can navigate trade disruptions and global uncertainty while seizing opportunities for growth through nearshoring, job creation, and deeper private sector engagement, and will underscore the transformative power of employment as a cornerstone of stability and long-term development for the region.

This was a curtain-raising conversation, organized in partnership with the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, in the prelude of the IMF-World Bank Week at the Atlantic Council.
