Please join the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center and the Electric Power Research Institute on Wednesday, June 1st, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm ET for a private and off-the-record workshop on the policy and financial levers available to accelerate industrial decarbonization. This event will feature two small panel discussions, one each on the policies and financial strategies that will be critical to advancing key decarbonizing technologies across heavy industries.

This workshop will focus on the policies and investments that can most effectively incentivize and support industrial decarbonization, and it continues the conversation from the Atlantic Council’s March workshop on the critical technologies that can spur decarbonization in the hard-to-abate sectors and their potential impact on global supply chains and industrial development. The potential for hydrogen, carbon capture, electrification, and other technologies in heavy industries will be critical to reaching net zero, but policy support and effective financing throughout their development and deployment will be key to reaching net-zero goals. Charting the path from demonstration to broad adoption will be critical.

This is a private, off-the-record event, and the Chatham House rule applies. Please join this conversation via the web application Zoom, which is accessible through your web browser, the Zoom desktop or mobile app, and by phone. If you wish to join the question and answer period, you must join by app or web. Register below to receive further information on how to join the virtual audience.
