The Africa Investment Forum (AIF), in partnership with the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center, invites you to a private roundtable on investing in digital infrastructure in African markets in the run up to this year’s Africa Investment Forum, a flagship initiative of the African Development Bank in concert with other leading African and global development finance institutions which will be held in Abidjan December 1-3rd.  The conversation will feature leading investors and entrepreneurs with experience building and investing in digital infrastructure across the continent and live opportunities in the AIF marketplace in the lead up to the Forum. The panel will include Dr. Omobola Johnson, Senior Partner of TLcom Capital LLP and former Nigerian Minister of Communication Technology, the Chief Executive Officers of Africa50 and Xenesis, and the Co-Founder, Partner and CEO of Gateway Partners. Moderation will be provided by Africa Center Senior Fellow Ms. Aubrey Hruby.

AIF is a flagship initiative of the African Development Bank in concert with its founding development finance partners. Its mission is to create a pipeline of bankable deals to present in critical sectors across African markets and accelerate the process of ongoing projects. At the 2019 Forum, AIF featured fifty-seven Boardroom deals valued at USD $67.7 billion and succeeded in crowding-in investment interests across fifty-two deals worth USD $40.1 billion from twenty-five countries. Join us for a conversation with leading investors and seasoned entrepreneurs in digital infrastructure development, and for a presentation of two current AIF investment opportunities. This will be the final roundtable of a longer series of sector-specific investment conversations hosted by the Atlantic Council in partnership with AIF.

This invite-only event will take place on Monday, November 22nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (ET) via Zoom. Please register here to confirm your attendance and receive Zoom details or respond to Nick O’Connell at NOConnell@AtlanticCouncil.org with any questions or concerns.
