On Thursday, July 24 from 10:30 a.m. ET, the Caribbean Initiative at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center will host a conversation on the importance of the Caribbean services sector for US and regional interests.

The Caribbean’s services sector is on the rise and presents new investment opportunities for US businesses, including industries such as tourism, outsourcing, and telecommunications. While there are concerns about how global volatility and uncertainty  impact Caribbean economies, the region’s markets offer opportunities for stakeholders to develop and test new technologies while helping further development.

What policies and incentives can unlock greater investment in services across the Caribbean? How can regional and international collaboration help address barriers to innovation and access to finance?
