Immediately following the conclusion of the ninth Summit of the Americas, the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center in partnership with the Foro Ciudadano de las Américas livestreamed a high-level discussion that served as the first post-Summit readout. Hear from Latin American and Caribbean leaders on common objectives and set the tone for future partnership.
Among other issues, the discussion focused on challenges the Caribbean faces alongside the rest of the region such as risks of climate change and the imperative of human capital development. These topics emerged from an Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center campaign over the previous eight months in partnership with the US Department of State to align and highlight regional priorities through public and private discussions.
