The Howard Baker Forum and Atlantic Council are delighted to invite you to the US-Japan Roundtable’s Summer Conference. The Conference will take place at the Willard Hotel (1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004), from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. Lunch and light refreshments will be served throughout the day, and a wine reception will follow immediately at 5:00 PM ET.
The panel discussions at the Summer Conference will focus on how the US and Japan can respond to Russia’s continued war in Ukraine. The conversations will also address the opportunities in civil nuclear cooperation between the US and Japan, as both countries face the challenge of aging reactor fleets and the promise of advanced nuclear energy technologies.
