On June 19, 2022, the United States and Colombia will celebrate two hundred years of bilateral relations. In the past two decades, the US-Colombia partnership has safeguarded key US interests in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and positioned Colombia as an increasingly prosperous democracy. As the bicentennial of the bilateral relationship approaches, the United States and Colombia have a unique opportunity to come together to define what the US-Colombia partnership could accomplish for years to come.
Join the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center and the Wilson Center’s Latin American Program on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. (ET)/6:30 – 8:00 p.m. (COT) for a public discussion on the future of US-Colombia ties. The event will also launch the Center’s first book, Allies: Twenty-Seven Bold Ideas to Reimagine the US-Colombia Relationship.
