Allison Minor is the director of the N7 Research Institute. She has worked across the national security, economic development, and research fields. During her career in the US government, Minor served as deputy special envoy for Yemen and as director for Arabian Peninsula affairs at the National Security Council. In these roles, Minor helped negotiate peace agreements, navigate periods of extreme instability, and deepen US partnerships across the Arab Gulf.

As managing director at the US Development Finance Corporation and in multiple senior roles at the US Agency for International Development, Minor championed creative approaches to leveraging economic tools to promote peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond.

Minor has produced action-oriented research on complex policy challenges, including as a fellow at the Brookings Institution. Her work has been published in Foreign Affairs and other leading foreign policy publications.
