Ana is an Attaché at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she leads the energy policy dossier within the Directorate-General for European Union Affairs. Having studied international relations, she focuses on creating synergy between energy policy objectives and foreign policy, both through national and EU institutions, and seeks to integrate transatlantic and global perspectives into European energy policymaking. Prior to her current position she worked at Ministry’s EU Accession Negotiating Group. In 2008, as a student, she volunteered with the Atlantic Council of Croatia to promote Croatia’s membership in NATO through organizing student roundtables, lectures, and conferences in partnership with US Embassy and Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She received her Master of Science in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh, where was awarded the Chevening Scholarship for academic excellence and outstanding leadership potential from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Zagreb.
