Caroline Costello is a program assistant with the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. With a background in Mandarin Chinese and Chinese history and culture, she supports the Hub’s programming and research. Costello has previously worked on the US Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.

Costello holds a BA in political science, a BA in international affairs, and a minor in Chinese from George Washington University. During her time there, Costello taught English in Xiting, China; worked with the Peace Corps, the Department of State, and Save the Children; and served as the head of Learning Enterprises, an international volunteer program which sends students to teach English in underserved communities abroad.
