Kelsey Forren was an associate director with the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center. Her work encompassed a range of clean energy solutions, including offshore wind and renewable energy deployment, industrial decarbonization, and sustainable urban planning. Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Kelsey worked for the Partnership for Responsible Growth in Washington, DC where she conducted research and outreach on the just transition as well as carbon pricing mechanisms. Previously, she worked as the sustainability coordinator for Miami University (Ohio) during which time she focused on calculating the institutional carbon footprint and identifying appropriate decarbonization pathways. 

Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Miami University, where she also received master’s degrees in environmental science and political science.
