Major Kevin M. Wheeler, USMC, is a nonresident fellow in the Indo-Pacific Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security.  

Wheeler is currently a regimental logistics officer in the US Marine Corps with 3d Marine Littoral Regiment. Before this, he was an active-duty US Marine Corps logistics officer and operations research analyst serving in the Joint Staff J-7, where his work focuses on assessments and analysis of future-focused reports and conceptual employment of the Joint Force. He will soon transition to the staff of Marine Littoral Regiment aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Wheeler has extensive experience living and working throughout the Indo-Pacific region and is passionate about building meaningful relationships born of common interests.   

Wheeler is an alumnus of the Norwich University Military College of Vermont and Joint Forces Staff College with Master of Science degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School and the National University of Singapore.
