Kymberly Bays is a 2025 Millennium Leadership Intensive participant and the director of global communications for CrossBoundary Group, an investment advisory and asset management firm that has mobilized capital across more than seventy-five underserved markets worldwide. She leads a global team of strategic communications professionals, driving narratives around renewable energy and nature-based climate solutions and pioneering blended finance models that unlock private capital for sustainable development. She previously led a communications and innovation portfolio for the United Nations Development Programme, with experience across South Sudan, Chad, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, and the UN agency’s Regional Bureau for Africa in New York. Earlier in her career, she was the digital director for FWD.us, a nonpartisan political advocacy organization founded by leaders in the tech industry. She holds an MSc in innovation and entrepreneurship from HEC Paris and a BA in political science and journalism from Temple University.
