Lorenzo Termine is a visiting fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center. He is also a postdoctoral researcher at Sapienza University of Rome and an adjunct professor at both the University of International Studies in Rome and the American University of Rome.

Additionally, he is affiliated with the Research Center for Cooperation with Eurasia, the Mediterranean, and Sub-Saharan Africa and the Center for Geopolitical and IR Studies at Geopolitica.info, where he coordinates research and portfolios on China and the Indo-Pacific.

He earned his PhD in political studies from Sapienza University of Rome. Termine has served as a contributor to the Italian Ministry of Defence Institute of Research and Analysis’s Strategic Observatory and a scientific reviewer for the Treccani Institute. He has also held visiting scholar positions at Georgetown University.
