Olivia Azadegan is a 2025 Millennium Leadership Intensive participant and the senior manager of energy programs at the Global Methane Hub, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to driving large-scale reductions in methane emissions worldwide. Azadegan oversees Global Methane Hub’s grants and initiatives in Europe and the Middle East to catalyze policy reforms, unlock climate financing, and scale innovative methane mitigation solutions across key industrial sectors. Prior to joining the Global Methane Hub, Azadegan served as the energy transition director for the Clean Air Task Force in the Middle East and North Africa. In this role, she advocated for the technological and policy changes needed to achieve zero-emissions industries, including the development of carbon management, methane, nuclear, and hydrogen solutions, among other related climate and energy initiatives. Before her work in the nonprofit sector, Azadegan spent five years in the finance industry, managing client relationships and accounts for Barclays Private Bank in London and New York. She has also held roles in financial news and data at S&P Global, Thomson Reuters, and the Financial TimesfDi Intelligence magazine.
