On March 27, Forward Defense Nonresident Senior Fellow Evanna Hu published an article in The Hill titled “Defense acquisition reform is critical going forward.” In the article, she argues that acquisition improvement requires cultural change in three key areas: more education of new acquisition pathways and emerging capabilities; a can-do attitude; and empowerment of the acquisition workforce.

Change starts with the people first and foremost. Defense acquisition reform is not any different.
