Rodriquez quoted in Wall Street Journal: Pentagon’s acting tech chief is a “trusted agent” of the administration

A July 13 article in the Wall Street Journal titled “White House Names U.S. CTO Kratsios Pentagon’s Acting Tech Chief” features comments and analysis from Atlantic Council Senior Advisor Stephen Rodriguez. According to Mr. Rodriguez, Mr. Kratsios will be able to exercise considerable power because of his ability to “dictate investment allocations.” However, since this is only an interim role, Mr. Rodriguez argued that the effect on policy “may be limited.”

What [this] signals to me is that the administration is putting a trusted agent in the Pentagon.
