In 2024, Forward Defense director Clementine Starling-Daniels and deputy director Mark Massa were quoted in Air and Space Forces Magazine in an article titled “Launching a Near Weapon in Space Would Be ‘Attack on the World.'” The article addresses reports that Russia is developing a space-based nuclear weapon.
