The report outlines a series of policy actions that the US-Colombia partnership could take to accelerate inclusive and sustainable COVID-19 recovery in Colombia, strengthening the US-Colombia alliance. Authored by Center Director Jason Marczak, Assistant Director Camila Hernandez, and Michel Janna, the report is a product of the Atlantic Council’s US-Colombia Task Force, a bilateral and multisectoral group of experts in the United States and Colombia, co-chaired by Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO).

The Atlantic Council’s US-Colombia Task Force, co-chaired by Senators Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Ben Cardin (D-MD), is a nonpartisan, binational, and multi-sectoral group created to strengthen US-Colombia diplomatic and economic ties. Through timely expert insights, it advances whole- of-society solutions with broad support in Colombia and the United States to address the most challenging policy issues affecting Colombia, while also promoting US interests in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
