Nawaz’s “The Battle for Pakistan” reviewed by Marvin G. Weinbaum

Like many others, his book underscores the inconstancy of the Pakistan-US relationship. It also resembles the rest in depicting Pakistan’s military as dominating the country’s narrative, and Afghanistan as driving much of Pakistan-US relations for almost four decades.
