On Tuesday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m. ET, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C. will host—in partnership with the Atlantic Council’s Strategic Litigation Project (SLP), International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), and C4ADS—an event to launch the organizations’ report, From Tehran to Kyiv: The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Role in Russia’s Drone War.
Panelists will discuss the report’s main findings: how the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) and Russian government procured Shahed-style drones, how the Russian military used the drones in attacks on civilians, and how IRI and Russian officials’ acts constitute secondary liability for core international crimes. Additional panelists will discuss policy options and how to hold the IRI and other enablers accountable. This event is not open to the public for in-person attendance. Attendees may join us virtually for the livestream.
