GeorgianMaia Nikoladze is an associate director within the GeoEconomics Center. In this role, she supports the center’s research at the intersection of foreign policy and economics, visualizes data on economic indicators, and provides operational assistance to the initiative. Maia was previously a Young Global Professional (YGP) at the Atlantic Council and worked as a graduate research assistant at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
Maia holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies with an honors certificate in International Business Diplomacy and a bachelor’s degree from Clark University in Political Science and Economics. Maia is originally from Tbilisi, Georgia.
