The Atlantic Council IN TURKEY & Turkey Programs Center and TRENDS Research and Advisory organized an in-person discussion and publication launch on “Prospects for Cooperation in Energy Transition for a Sustainable Future: GCC, Türkiye, and Regional Perspectives” taking place at COP28 on Saturday, December 9th, at The Presentation Stage, Knowledge Hub, Green Zone, Expo city, in Dubai.
Türkiye and the GCC share many synergies in the energy sector and unlocking the mutually beneficial areas of cooperation can play a vital role in addressing the challenge of climate change to the region.
At the event, we launched and discussed the contents of the TRENDS & Atlantic Council report on Türkiye-GCC energy transition cooperation. The report is composed of articles from experts around the region, on topics relevant to the discussion.
